We are very excited to announce that the fourth Jersey Round Island Challenge will be taking place on Saturday 31 August 2019.
In 2018, over 200 people took on the adventure challenge and either Swam, Canoe/Kayaked, Rowed, SUP’ed or Ran around the stunning Island of Jersey. In doing so they not only took on a massive challenge but also took on one of the highest tidal ranges in the world!
This epic challenge raises awareness and valuable funds for the Grace Crocker Family Support Foundation, a local charity that supports families in Jersey with sick children needing treatment in the UK. To date participants helped us raise an unbelievable £45,000 for the charity.

All categories complete the achievement of circum-navigating the island, as a team or solo. There are 5 categories for the Jersey Round Island Challenge:
- Swim kindly sponsored by Dickinson Gleeson
- Stand Up Paddle board (SUP)
- Kayak / Surf Ski
If you would like to participate in the JRIC but you cannot see your discipline, please contact the event team for more information. Please note that all of the above categories can be as a solo competitor or as a relay team.
Each race category is managed by a relevant local club, who provides essential support, training and safety guidelines. For the sake of safety, every entrant must first demonstrate that they are fit and capable to participate in this endurance event. Sign off for participation will come from an experienced Jersey club member.
